Ideology

Ideologies are collections of political beliefs and principles that a group shares.

A population's ideology alters its desire for political and social reforms, the political parties it votes for, and the kind of rebellions it stages.

There are seven ideologies in Victoria II.

• Anarcho-liberalism
• Communism
• Conservatism
• Fascism
• Liberalism
• Reactionism

• Socialism

Anarcho-liberalism tries to make a government that is extremely weak.

Communism tries to make great social reform, but tries to take away the political reforms that have been put there.

Conservatism tries to keep things the same, unless the people are angry enough.

Fascism tries to make the nation the best it can, but chocking political and social rights at time, at others letting their grip loosen.

Liberalism tries to reform the political institutions put in place by others.

Reactionary political Ideology tries to revert society to an earlier time, in game this means rolling back reforms in both politics and social areas.

And for last, Socialism they back social reform, but unless people are mad enough to revolt.
